We would class these as a moderate level of care - all stock have been acclimatised to a freshwater aquarium.

Inhabits the brackish waters of India, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and India
What is the ideal number to keep together?
Can be kept in groups, but provide enough space for territorial males.
What water conditions do they require?
Temperatures of 22 - 26 degrees and pH of 7.0 - 8.5.
What should you feed them?
Will happily accept frozen and sinking foods.
How compatible are they with other fish?
Not suited for general Community. Do not keep with species it can fit into its mouth or slow moving species as it may be seen to nip fins.
Can they be bred in captivity?
Achieved by the general hobbyist but very rare. A cave spawner with paternal after care of the eggs.
