Marine Coral Frag Racks & Plugs

Fragging is one of the most rewarding parts of reef keeping, letting you propagate healthy coral colonies, share cuttings with other hobbyists, or simply keep growth under control in your display tank. When choosing a rack, think about the size and shape of your frags rather than just tank size: flat, honeycomb-style racks suit small mushroom or zoanthid frags, while taller multi-tier stands work better for branching species like acropora that need more clearance and flow around each cutting. Acrylic plugs and racks are also inert and algae-resistant, so they won't affect your water chemistry over time. Positioning matters too — place racks where flow and lighting are even, so every frag on the rack develops at a similar rate.
