Goldfish Food & Goldfish Pellets

Choosing the right food often comes down to matching the pellet or flake size to the size of your goldfish, and considering whether they feed mainly at the surface or lower in the water column, since flake floats while sinking pellets and granules suit fish that prefer to graze below. It's best to only feed as much as your goldfish can finish within a couple of minutes, once or twice a day, as leftover food can cloud the water and affect quality. Feeding a varied diet, including the occasional frozen feed alongside daily pellets, helps encourage natural feeding behaviour and gives fish a wider range of nutrients for healthy growth and rich colouration.
