Replacing a worn part is usually cheaper and greener than replacing the whole feature. When choosing a replacement pump, match the flow rate (litres per hour) as closely as possible to your original specification — too weak and the water will barely trickle, too strong and it can splash or overflow. Check the pump's maximum head height too, against how far the water needs to travel upwards through your feature.
