What is the ideal number to keep together?
Will be much more sociable if kept in groups, can be shy if kept by themselves.
What water conditions do they require?
Ideally slightly acidic water conditions are provided between 6.5pH - 7pH however they will happily live in conditions ranging up to pH of 7.5. Temperatures should range between 24-26¬∞C.
What should you feed them?
Will happily accept a range of sinking foods, frozen and live feeds. Will happily feed on nuisance pest such as snails.
How compatible are they with other fish?
Do not keep with shirmp, will quite happily live with most general community species.
Can they be bred in captivity?
Unheard of in the private aquarium.
