Which part number do I need for my model?

The PFC-3000 uses Part 5; the PFC-5000, 8000, 12000, 20000, 25000 and 30000 use Part 6; and the PFC-50000 and AUTO-PFC-75000 use Part 16.

What does the quartz sleeve do?

It's the clear glass tube that houses and protects the UV bulb while allowing UV light to pass through to the water. A cracked or heavily scaled sleeve reduces UV performance.

When should I replace the quartz sleeve?

Replace it if it's cracked, and clean it whenever you change the UV bulb — a scaled or damaged sleeve cuts UV output even with a brand-new bulb.

Does it include the UV bulb?

No, this is the protective quartz glass tube only. The UV bulb is a separate item.
