About the Replacement CUV-136 Quartz Sleeve for UV Steriliser

This replacement quartz sleeve is suitable for the following All Pond Solutions UV sterilisers.

CUV-136 - takes one sleeve.
CUV-172 - this is a twin-chamber 72w unit and takes two of these sleeves.

If you are servicing a CUV-172, order two, or take the CUV-172 Annual UV Service Kit, which has both sleeves, both lamps and the twin-chamber O-ring set together.

While the unit is open

Replace the UV lamp at the same time. A bulb stops working long before it stops glowing - the visible light remains while the invisible UV-C output fades. The CUV-136 takes one 36w PLL 4 pin lamp; the CUV-172 takes two. Check the O-rings for flattening or cracking and lubricate them lightly with a silicone-based lubricant on reassembly.
