Count the pins on the base of your existing bulb before ordering. Four pins means you need the PLL. Two pins means this one.

When to replace a UV bulb

A UV bulb stops working long before it stops glowing. The visible light remains while the invisible UV-C output fades, so a lamp that still lights up can be doing nothing for your water.

Sterilisation: replace every 6 months (approximately 4,000 hours)
Pond or aquarium clarification: replace every 12 months (approximately 8,000 hours)
