This is the 36w lamp for every AllPondSolutions 36w unit: CUV-136, CUV-172, CUV-236 and CUV-272 sterilisers; SSUV-36 stainless steriliser; PFC-25000 and AUTO-PFC-25000 filters. Also fits all major manufacturers' 36w 4 pin units - measure your existing bulb end to end and check it against 410mm before ordering.

When to replace it

A UV bulb stops working long before it stops glowing. The visible light remains while the invisible UV-C output fades, so a lamp that still lights up can be doing nothing for your water.

• Sterilisation: replace every 6 months (approximately 4,000 hours)
• Pond or aquarium clarification: replace every 12 months (approximately 8,000 hours)
