The AllPondSolutions CUV-136 36w UV Light Steriliser

Unlike other sterilisers, this unit has three inlet / outlet's - very useful if you want to run the output to a two-fall waterfall, or indeed a waterfall and a filter. The unit comes complete with three stepped hosetails to fit a variety of hose sizes.

The sterilizer is also supplied with a separate glass viewport which can be used to replace one of the hosetails for use as a one-in / one-out unit.

This model comes with an external ballast.

Pallet delivery is to the kerbside (at least 2 people will be needed to off-load depending on item size.)

The couriers WILL NOT be able to assist you with moving the aquarium/terrarium or chiller onto the premises. This is due to insurance purposes.

Express next day service orders must be placed before 3pm to ensure they are dispatched that day.

Deliveries will take place between 08:00-19:00 Monday to Friday. Delivery outside of these hours may be subject to an additional fee and local depot availability.

What size pond and aquarium is the CUV-136 suitable for?

It is suitable for aquariums up to 600 litres and ponds up to 20000 litres, and can be used for both marine and freshwater.

What is included with the steriliser?

It comes with three stepped hosetails, a separate ground-glass viewport (to replace a hosetail for one-in/one-out use), a wall mounting bracket with screws, and a 36w UV bulb. It also has an external ballast.

Does it come with a UK plug?

No. In compliance with UK electrical regulations, this UV steriliser is supplied without a fitted UK plug, so a suitable plug or outdoor switch box must be purchased separately.

What UV bulb does it use and how often should it be replaced?

It includes one 36w UV bulb. As with UV lamps generally, the bulb should be replaced roughly every 12 months to maintain effective sterilisation.

What are the flow rate, hose fittings and cable length?

It offers through-flow sterilisation at 4500 L/H, has a 5m power cable, and its inlet/outlet adapters fit 19mm, 25mm, 32mm and 38mm (0.75, 1, 1.25 and 1.5 inch) hose. The UV case is 49cm long.

Is there a warranty, and how should the unit be positioned?

It comes with a free 12 month warranty and must be placed horizontally next to the pond.
