Found throughout central and western Nigeria and Cameroon.

What is the ideal number to keep together?
Males should be kept without competition and ideally with 2-3 females.

What water conditions do they require?
Ideally, slightly acidic water conditions are provided between 6.0pH - 7.5pH. Temperatures should range between 24-26°C.

What should you feed them?
Will happily accept most foods offered. Introduction of frozen foods such as artemia and daphnia to encourage natural feeding patterns will benefit this species.

How compatible are they with other fish?
Ideal tank mates are peaceful and slow moving.
