Where in the world are they from?
Found throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.

What is the ideal number to keep together?
A social species that should be kept in groups of 6 or more.

What water conditions do they require?
Temperature ranges of 21 - 26 Celsius and will accept pH ranges as from 5.5 - 6.5

What should you feed them?
Live foods will be greatly accepted as well as frozen foods such as Blod worm, Artemia and Daphnia. When larger will grow to accept small sinking pellets.

How compatible are they with other fish?
More than happy to live in a general community.

Can they be bred in captivity?
Unrecorded in the hobbyist aquarium
