Ideally suited to a well planted aquarium, but is a hardy well developed species.

Where in the world are they from?
Found throughout South China, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in the Mekong river delta.

What is the ideal number to keep together?
Will happily coexist with similar species, but can be kept in pairs or large groups.

What water conditions do they require?
Water requirements are quite broad ranging, will accept 24-30 degrees C with a pH range of 6.0 - 8.0.

What should you feed them?
In order to promote best colour a broad range of frozen or live foods should be offered along side a diet of crushed flake or slow sinking pellets.

How compatible are they with other fish?
Will not cope well with highly active tank mates and should be kept with peaceful, slow moving species.

Can they be bred in captivity?
A known bubblenest builder which will happily form temporary pair bonds. Often isolated to pairs by breeders once pairs have been identified.

Important
Pallet delivery is to the kerbside (at least 2 people will be needed to off-load depending on item size.)

The couriers WILL NOT be able to assist you with moving the aquarium/terrarium or chiller onto the premises. This is due to insurance purposes.

Express next day service orders must be placed before 1pm to ensure they are dispatched that day.

Deliveries will take place between 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. Delivery outside of these hours may be subject to an additional fee and local depot availability.
