Should be kept in groups of at least 6 to promote best colour when males compete position within the heirachy.

What water conditions do they require?
A pH of 6.5 - 8.5 and broad temperatures from 16 - 25 degrees make this a very hardy species.

What should you feed them?
Will happily accept a broad range of food types.

How compatible are they with other fish?
An ideal community tank mate, keep in groups and provide plenty of plant cover to promote best colour.

Can they be bred in captivity?
A free spawning egg scatterer that provides no parental after care, whilst breeding is possible in a general community it is unlikely for most fry to survive without special care.
